Here you will find the details pertaining to changes we made to hopefully help everyone’s scheduling for the holidays. As most people make holiday plans way in advance, last minute cancellations are often hard to fill. Since we are a small family business every revenue dollar missed during these peak times diminishes our ability to provide the high quality service we hope everyone appreciates.
So we have created a Cancellation Policy effective January 1st, 2017 that we hope everyone finds to be fair and equitable to both sides. We want to maintain our flexibility for last minute reservations, for those that like to plan ahead with future reservations, and for those with casual plans that might fall through.
The only time periods we will be requiring deposits for future boarding per the cancellation policy will be these peak time periods;
- Spring Break ( Generally the middle period during the month of March )
- Memorial Day Weekend
- 4th of July Week ( For any reservations booking through the holiday )
- Labor Day Weekend
- Thanksgiving Day Week ( For any reservations booking through the holiday)
- Christmas through New Year’s Day
All other times through out the year there will be no requirement in the form of deposit for booking or upon cancellation. In effect those times will be how it has always been call and give us your dates and if they fall through or you need to change them no problem.
Boarding Contract Clause:
“6. I understand the Cancellation Policy as follows: Leash and Bridle requires 50% of the balance of the boarding stay up front to book for any major holidays including Spring break, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s, . Refunds will be granted if we are given notice within 60 days of the boarding start date. Credit will be applied to your Leash and Bridle account or refund checks can be requested. This is to ensure everyone has a fair chance to book their holiday vacations and to help us with last minute empty spots to be filled during peak times. We truly appreciate the business from all our clients. No deposits will be required for cancellations falling outside of Holiday peak times as we still want to remain flexible for everyone’s ever changing life schedules.”
